Nothing has been changed for more than a century. The molten glass is pre-formed and blown into a form made of hardwood, then the stem and the base are formed using special tools. After cooling down, it’s time for cutting – the precise edges of the stem, a belt of olivettes on the body and a delicate diamond cut. The cut is especially demanding when it comes to focus and steady hand. Next is preparation of the oroplastic décor, painting with gold paint and firing in a furnace.
