William Yeoward Imperial Grand Table Carafe
William Yeoward Imperial Grand Table Carafe β Handmade Crystal Carafe
This Carafe has been mouth blown by one of the last remaining highly skilled glass blowers in England- and then hand engraved with traditional Grapevine engraving in Stourbridge, the original home of English Crystal making. This Carafe is a wonderful statement piece and a great example of English craftsmanship; but is also intended to have a practical use. We know that several of these Carafes are destined for some of the finest wine cellars around the world, where they will be used to decant truly majestic bottles of wine such as Jeroboams (6 bottles), Imperials (8 bottles) or even a Salmanazar (12 bottles). We believe that this is the first time that such a Carafe has been made and it would make a magnificent gift for the serious wine collector. Entirely hand made, these Carafes are unique pieces, each being just slightly different from the others.
The William Yeoward Imperial Grand Table Carafe is crafted by William Yeoward, the English crystal house founded in 1995 by William Yeoward and Timothy Jenkins. Inspired by 18th- and 19th-century English and Irish designs, every piece is made by hand by master craftsmen.
