The Art of Bernardaud

Founded in Limoges in 1863, Bernardaud is the standard-bearer of French porcelain, still family-led after five generations. From the kaolin-rich clay of the Limousin the house crafts dinnerware prized on the world’s finest tables — the sculpted white relief of Ecume, the gilded grandeur of Louvre and Constance, the sunlit hues of Sol and Dune, and the gold-branched birdsong of Aux Oiseaux. Bernardaud is equally celebrated for bringing artists to porcelain: Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Jeff Koons and Sarkis have all created editions in Limoges white gold.
