The Caran d'Ache Léman Caviar Roller Pen is crafted by Caran d'Ache, the Swiss Maison de Haute Écriture founded in Geneva in 1915. Every Haute Écriture instrument is produced in the company's Geneva workshops under the “Swiss Made” label and assembled by hand.

The Léman Collection

Since 1998, the Léman collection has embodied the richness of chromatic variations illuminating the shores of the lake so dear to Geneva, combining stunningly coloured varnishes with the brilliance of precious metals over a thick-gauge brass body.

A subtle harmonisation of coating and guilloche techniques reveals fine engraving beneath a transparent grey varnish, giving rise to surprising metallised reflections.

To further enhance the style of the Léman™ collection, Caran d'Ache master craftsmen have created an unusual association of materials. The new Léman™ Caviar creation is a subtle fusion of lacquer and guillochage techniques, revealing a fine undulating engraving that creates unexpected shimmering metallic reflections. Glossy, amber tinted bronze lacquer envelopes the silhouette of the pen, instilling a definite sense of caviar beads.
