The Christofle Perles Silver-Plated Cheese Knife is crafted by Christofle, the French silversmith founded in Paris in 1830 and celebrated for nearly two centuries of silver craftsmanship.

The silver plated cheese knife in the perles pattern has two teeth at the end to pick cheese off of a plate and works with hard and soft cheeses. The Louis XVI-style Perles pattern, which features a single delicate line of beading reminiscent of a classic pearl necklace, was introduced in 1876.
