The Caran d'Ache Ecridor Racing Mechanical Pencil is crafted by Caran d'Ache, the Swiss Maison de Haute Écriture founded in Geneva in 1915. Every Haute Écriture instrument is produced in the company's Geneva workshops under the “Swiss Made” label and assembled by hand.

Since the 1930s, the Ecridor collection has been emblematic of the precious know-how of Caran d'Ache: a sober, elegant hexagonal design finely engraved by the Maison's master guillocheurs over a brass body.

The Ecridor Racing asserts its motor racing genes: a deep matt black body decorated with engravings inspired by radiator grilles, platinum-finish profile attributes and intense red flashes.

The Ecridor™ Racing subtly reinterprets the codes of automotive iconography. The instrument boasts a matte black chrome finish and graphic guillochage, calling to mind radiator grilles. The red lines emphasise the corners of the pen, similar to the rear lights of a car. Like the ballpoint pen, the mechanical pencil offers perfect handling. Fitted with a high-precision rechargeable push-button mechanism carrying the graphite leads, it also has a replaceable rubber allowing you to alter your writings whenever you want.
