The Caran d'Ache Ecridor Retro Ballpoint Pen is crafted by Caran d'Ache, the Swiss Maison de Haute Écriture founded in Geneva in 1915. Every Haute Écriture instrument is produced in the company's Geneva workshops under the “Swiss Made” label and assembled by hand.

The Ecridor Collection

Since the 1930s, the Ecridor collection has been emblematic of the precious know-how of Caran d'Ache: a sober, elegant hexagonal design finely engraved by the Maison's master guillocheurs over a brass body.

Retro Guilloche is characterised by a lozenge decoration taken from the 1930s mechanical pencils, the first to be produced by the company with precious metals such as gold and silver.

True to its name, the Ecridor™ Retro pays tribute to the first Caran d'Ache mechanical pencils, made from precious metals since 1947. Its guilloche is made of lozenges and is emblematic of vintage models. This elegantly matches its platinum-coated finish. The Ecridor™ Retro ballpoint pen delivers up to 600 A4 pages, thanks to the acclaimed Goliath cartridge.
