The Christofle Marly Silver-Plated Sauce Spoon is crafted by Christofle, the French silversmith founded in Paris in 1830 and celebrated for nearly two centuries of silver craftsmanship.

The silver plated sauce spoon in the Marly pattern is ideal for skimming sauces on a plate and can substitute as a fish knife. The flat-bottomed utensil was created specifically for this purpose in 1950 by Paris’ famous Lasserre restaurant. Marly, named after a no-longer-standing pleasure palace built by Louis XIV outside Paris, has been one of the most detailed and ornate patterns in the Christofle’s catalog since it was created in 1897.
