Bernardaud Park Seo-Bo Écriture No.1-23 – Limoges Porcelain Sculpture

"While looking at the horizon of Jeju Island, I wanted to mix colors of the sky and the ocean. So I created the color with a lot of white in it. When I finished the work, I found myself breathing deeply in front of it, so I called it Air Color ." Park Seo-Bo Presenting the porcelain print for the first time, the artist wanted to perpetuate the colors of nature with the permanence of porcelain. The challenge for Bernardaud was to faithfully recreate the fine lines of the original work in relief and to relay the power of the colors desired by the artist.

The Bernardaud Park Seo-Bo Écriture No.1-23 is crafted by Bernardaud, the storied Limoges porcelain house founded in 1863. From its workshops in Limoges, France, Bernardaud has supplied the world's finest tables for more than 160 years, pairing the region's famed kaolin porcelain with contemporary artistry.
