The Christofle Rubans Silver-Plated Sauce Spoon is crafted by Christofle, the French silversmith founded in Paris in 1830 and celebrated for nearly two centuries of silver craftsmanship.

The silver plated sauce spoon in the Rubans pattern is ideal for skimming sauces off a plate and can substitute as a fish knife. The flat-bottomed utensil was created for this purpose in 1950 by Paris’ famous Lasserre restaurant. Created in 1907, Rubans is a feminine Louis XVI-style pattern.
