Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, begins at sundown on Friday, December 4, 2026, and continues for eight nights, through Saturday, December 12. It is a time for lighting candles with family, spinning dreidels and sharing gifts – and a beautiful menorah or piece of Judaica is a gift that returns to the table year after year.
1. A Menorah to Light for Years to Come
The Hanukkah menorah holds nine candles: one for each night of the holiday, plus the shamash, the helper candle used to light the others. A handcrafted menorah becomes the centerpiece of the celebration – and a family heirloom.
More handcrafted menorahs: White Orchid, Black Orchid, Palm, Wildflowers, Butterfly Ginkgo, Twist and Molten by Michael Aram.
2. Kiddush Cups for Shabbat and Holidays
A kiddush cup holds the wine for the blessing on Shabbat and holidays – a thoughtful gift for a new home, a wedding or the family that always hosts.
3. A Mezuzah to Bless the Home
A mezuzah is affixed to the doorposts of a Jewish home, which makes it a meaningful housewarming or wedding gift.
4. Something Playful: A Dreidel
Hanukkah Gift-Giving Tips
- Shop early: this year Hanukkah begins on December 4, weeks before Christmas.
- Many families give a small gift on each of the eight nights – mix one special piece with smaller treats.
- A menorah, kiddush cup and mezuzah from the same design (Tree of Life, Pomegranate or Botanical Leaf) make a coordinated set for a new home.
Save your favorites: open any piece and tap the ♡ to add it to your Wishlist, then share your list with family and friends.
