The Art of Saint-Louis

Cristallerie Saint-Louis has worked crystal in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, in the Moselle forest of eastern France, since 1586; its glassworks received Louis XV's letters patent and the house is part of the Hermès group today. Its master glassblowers and cutters still make every piece by hand. Signature collections include Tommy, the diamond-cut service shown at Versailles in 1928 and offered in jewel colors; Folia by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, which pairs crystal with ash wood; the geometric Oxymore; Bubbles with its crystal marbles; Pierre Charpin's Cadence; the Manhattan mixology bar; José Lévy's reversible Les Endiablés; and the Royal pieces born from Saint-Louis chandeliers.
