Bernardaud Origine

Bernardaud Origine is white Limoges porcelain for everyday use, made in France by Bernardaud, the Limoges porcelain house founded in 1863. Its softly curved, organic shapes suit a relaxed table as well as a formal one, and the plain white glaze pairs easily with color and pattern, which makes Origine a practical choice for a wedding registry.

Made for daily use

Undecorated Origine porcelain is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe, and the oval roasting dish, rectangular baker and deep round dishes go from oven to table. Pieces decorated with precious metals should be washed by hand and kept out of the microwave.

What is in the collection

Plates come in sets: dinner plates, salad plates and bread and butter plates in sets of eight, and service plates, tapas plates, pasta plates, coupe soups and cereal bowls in sets of four. For tea and coffee there are tea cups and saucers, espresso cups and saucers and mugs in sets of four, plus a hot beverage server. Serving pieces include the oval platter, oblong and large coupes, bowls in two sizes and deep round dishes.
