Gien Filet Blue

Filet Blue is one of the colors of Les Filets, Gien's hand-banded scalloped service. Les Filets are the quiet backbone of the Gien range: the classic scalloped shape left white, with one hand-painted band, the 'filet', running along the edge. Each color is applied by brush, so the line has the slight life of handwork rather than the flatness of a transfer. The palette runs from cobalt, midnight and ocean blue through green, lemon, coral, red, taupe and earth grey, so the collection can match almost any decorated Gien pattern or stand alone as a simple, elegant everyday service. Gien also paints Filet in blue and midnight with a hand-lettered monogram for a personalized table.
