Gien Provence

Provence is Isabelle Barthel's tribute to the Provence of the writer Marcel Pagnol. The plates and serving pieces are filled with the bright, sun-struck colors of village produce markets, rows of lavender and citrus trees, and they carry the easy, generous mood of a long lunch outdoors. Gien decorates the pattern on its fine white earthenware in the Loire Valley, and it pairs naturally with yellow, green or blue Filets.

Gien Provence is French faience by Gien, made in the town of Gien on the Loire since 1821.
