Gien Les Vases à Oranger
Les Vases à Oranger is a Gien faience pattern made with the Palace of Versailles. Its theme is the palace gardens designed by André Le Nôtre, gardener to Louis XIV, and its border borrows the trellis work and planted architecture of those gardens, keeping the engraved look of the archive drawings it was taken from. The range covers dinner and dessert plates, a mug, coasters, candy trays and an oblong serving tray, all made at the Gien manufactory in the Loire Valley.
