Moser Bar

The iconic Bar collection, which has entranced customers for nine decades: squares and circles meet each other. When the designer Rudolf Eschler combined these two worlds together, a cut glass with a playful optical illusion of melting ice cubes was born. The massive square base gives stability to the hand-cut and polished glasses of various sizes, the jug, and the carafe, while light reflections play on their curves.

In the Bar collection, Rudolf Eschler used a unique Moser method: the crystal glass is formed with abrupt force, followed by a meticulous edge cut. The illusion of melting ice cubes in the clear cut glass, created by the lines, is complemented by the use of typical Moser colors (beryl, eldor, rosalin, alexandrite, aquamarine, topaz) and oceanite and smoke color shades. In 2019, two glass sizes in underlaid colors were added. For the most demanding customers and for exceptional occasions, the collection can be adorned with custom platinum or gold décor. We carry 3 pieces of the Moser Bar collection: highball glasses, old fashioned glasses. Moser crystal is hand-blown and hand-cut from lead-free crystal at the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where Moser has worked since 1857. Moser pieces ship in about 3–4 weeks.
