The Moser Bar Tumbler 220 ml is a crystal whisky glass from the Moser Bar collection, hand-blown and hand-cut from lead-free crystal at the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where Moser has made crystal since 1857.

Reflections of golden whisky play on the skillful cut, creating an illusion of melting ice cubes in the clear or colored crystal glass which have been mesmerizing fine drink and glass enthusiasts for 90 years. The massive square base fits your hand perfectly, while the combination of straight and curved lines captivates with an impressive visual effect. The experience is enhanced by the typical Moser color tones of beryl, eldor, rosalin, alexandrite, aquamarine or topaz, as well as the complementary colors oceanite or smoke. Also available with exclusive platinum or gold décor.
Design and production: Optical play on clear or colored crystal
In the Bar collection, Rudolf Eschler used a unique Moser method: the crystal glass is formed with abrupt force, followed by a meticulous edge cut. The illusion of melting ice cubes in the clear cut glass, created by the lines, is complemented by the use of typical Moser colors (beryl, eldor, rosalin, alexandrite, aquamarine, topaz) and oceanite and smoke color shades. In 2019, two glass sizes in underlaid colors were added. For the most demanding customers and for exceptional occasions, the collection can be adorned with custom platinum or gold décor.

About the Moser Bar collection
The iconic Bar collection, which has entranced customers for nine decades: squares and circles meet each other. When the designer Rudolf Eschler combined these two worlds together, a cut glass with a playful optical illusion of melting ice cubes was born. The massive square base gives stability to the hand-cut and polished glasses of various sizes, the jug, and the carafe, while light reflections play on their curves.

In the 1930s, Rudolf Eschler was one of the most successful Moser designers. His work formed a significant part of several world expositions in Chicago, Brussels and Paris. The timelessness of Eschler’s work is also shown by the fact that, in addition to the Bar collection, his Culbuto line is also still in production. His perfume and liquor sets, recognizable by their strictly square shapes, are also highly prized by collectors and in auctions.
