Vincennes dates from 1877, when exotic birds were the fashion at court and cockatoos and parrots filled the decorative arts. Gien's version scatters them among flowering tendrils and foliage, with details hand-painted in fine gold.
The Perfect Gift for Collectors
Gien faience is treasured by collectors worldwide. Beautifully boxed, the Egg on Stand - Vincennes Or Decorative Box makes a memorable gift for weddings, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations.
Care: Rinse after meals without soaking and avoid sudden temperature changes; never microwave or machine-wash pieces decorated with gold.
