Saint-Louis Trianon Square Decanter – French crystal decanter
The Saint-Louis Trianon Square Decanter is a crystal decanter by Cristallerie Saint-Louis, the French crystal manufacture founded in 1586 in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, in the Moselle region of France, where its crystal is still mouth-blown and hand-cut.
The parison is adorned with facets topped by a frieze of diamond points, while the cutaway leg is fitted with a ring at mid-height. Imperial, the Trianon line is one of the first collections ever designed by Saint-Louis and it remains an example of refinement and classicism. A wide variety of cuts an sizes make it the ideal companion for any function. In clear or colored crystal, Trianon expresses all its excellence. In 1834, the Trianon crystal glasses from the Saint-Louis crystal glassworks inaugurated the era of the glass service, a model of refinement. It's no coincidence that in the 1960s, this service graced the tables of the Elysée Palace. Trianon is appreciated for its wide variety of cuts and sizes, making it the ideal companion for all functions.
