About the Oiseau Bleu Pattern
Isabelle de Borchgrave found the blue of Oiseau Bleu in tableware recovered from a sunken Spanish galleon, its color softened by seawater and salt, and combined it with classical 18th-century drawing. The single-color version has become a Gien staple.
