Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti La Lettura Bowl, Conversazione Classica
The Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti La Lettura Bowl, Conversazione Classica is a decorative bowl from the Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti collection, made in Italy.
Conversazione Classica Bowl. La Lettura decoration. Arte di Gio Ponti Collection.
With "La Conversazione Classica" master Gio Ponti wanted to bring to life a representation of allegorical figures alluding to the Arts, translated into Deco style. The figures move on a floor embellished with symbols of antiquity, with perspective leaks giving dynamism to the composition. The cup pays homage to the act of reading, and on a red background vaguely resembling Pompeii, it brings to life a semi-recumbent figure wrapped in a long scroll. Arte di Gio Ponti Collection expresses the Florentine Maison's savoir faire of excellence in an emblematic collection that tells the story of Ginori 1735 through the most significant works born of the creative flair of the renowned architect, Creative Director of the Manifattura from 1923 to 1933.
A Ginori 1735 decorative bowl is a distinctive Italian porcelain gift for a housewarming, wedding or birthday.
