Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti La Musica Bowl, Conversazione Classica

The Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti La Musica Bowl, Conversazione Classica is a decorative bowl from the Ginori 1735 Arte di Gio Ponti collection, made in Italy.

Conversazione Classica Bowl. La Musica decoration. Arte di Gio Ponti Collection.

The decoration "La Conversazione Classica" depicts allegorical figures alluding to the arts, translated into Art Deco style. The figures move on a pavement embellished with symbols of antiquity, with perspective leaks giving dynamism to the composition. The bowl pays homage to music and, on a red background vaguely similar to Pompeii, depicts a semi-recumbent figure holding a flute and a score. Arte di Gio Ponti Collection is a precious and emblematic collection that pays tribute to the renowned architect and savoir faire excellence of Ginori 1735 through art objects that tell the story of the Florentine Maison.

A Ginori 1735 decorative bowl is a distinctive Italian porcelain gift for a housewarming, wedding or birthday.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
