Ginori 1735 Catene Bread Plate, Black
The Ginori 1735 Catene Bread Plate, Black is a porcelain bread plate from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.
Porcelain bread plate with black pattern. Catene collection by Gio Ponti.
The fine white porcelain gives light and brightness; the black decoration is intertwined in a sophisticated and essential geometric pattern; the platinum thread embellishes the lines and defines the classic Impero shape, a tribute to the Ginori 1735 tradition: the bread plate makes every table sophisticated and authentic, both in combination with the dinner plates and soup plates from the same collection, and as the only distinctive element of a refined mise en place. The Catene collection, born from the creative genius of Gio Ponti, is available in complete table and tea and coffee sets in emerald green, scarlet red, sapphire blue, and black, which together, create bold and sophisticated color mixes ready to highlight any course.
Ginori 1735 Catene Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735
Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
