Ginori 1735 Catene Espresso Cup, Scarlatto

The Ginori 1735 Catene Espresso Cup, Scarlatto is a porcelain espresso cup from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Red porcelain coffee cup with intertwined chain pattern by Gio Ponti. Catene Ginori 1735 collection.

Every sip of coffee from this Ginori 1735 coffee cup from the Catene collection becomes a moment of pure sensory pleasure. The intertwined chain pattern, designed by the ingenious Gio Ponti in the 1920s, creates a dynamic interplay of solids and voids, giving it a modern and sophisticated allure. The scarlet decoration that wraps around the circumference of the object, along with the delicate platinum threading, enhance the minimalist purity of the white lining the cup, evoking a sense of continuity. Each Gio Ponti porcelain coffee cup featuring a scarlet pattern can be complemented by its matching coffee saucer, which echoes the geometric pattern of the chains, creating a harmonious whole. To complete the dining experience, the collection dessert plates are perfect for serving desserts or small treats together with coffee. Alternatively, you can opt for the matching sugar bowl, creating the perfect combination for a refined coffee break or to elegantly end a dinner party. The tableware proposals in the Catene collection feature clean and essential lines, creating a balance between aesthetics and practicality.

Pair it with other Ginori 1735 Catene pieces for a coordinated Italian porcelain coffee and tea service.
