Complete with two cups and two plates, it is distinguished by its iconic scarletred geometric pattern, the result of a sophisticated manufacturing process enhanced by distinctive platinum threading. The special feature of the Ginori1735 coffee service is the refined lid with knob made strictly of platinum,which closes the two cups and is able to maintain the warmth of the drink. Catene, together with the Labirinto collection, was born from the creative genius of designer and architect Gio Ponti, Artistic Director of the Florentine Maison from 1923 to 1933, who contributed to making the Manifattura an example of savoir faire of excellence and an expression of made in Italy.

About Ginori 1735
Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
