Ginori 1735 Catene Flat Plate, Black

The Ginori 1735 Catene Flat Plate, Black is a porcelain dinner plate from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Flat plate in porcelain with black and platinum decoration. Catenecollection.

The iconic black decoration stands out against the fine white porcelain, for a powerful visual impact. The platinum threading, a signature of the Ginori 1735 Manifattura, accentuates the contours and frames master Gio Ponti's geometric decoration, the fruit of a sophisticated ten-step handcrafting process. Catene embodies the masterful fusion of Italian craftsmanship and aesthetics. It is available in a complete assortment of table, tea and coffee sets in Blu Zaffiro, Rosso Scarlatto and Verde Smeraldo variants, for contrasting arrangements also paired with the geometric patterns of the Labirinto collection by the same designer.

Ginori 1735 Catene Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
