Ginori 1735 Catene Flat Plate, Smeraldo

The Ginori 1735 Catene Flat Plate, Smeraldo is a porcelain dinner plate from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Flat plate with emerald green décor. Catene collection.

The minimal style of the historic Impero shape blends with the geometric lines of the iconic emerald green decoration and amazes diners with both its retro and modern design. The chain motif comes from the creative flair of Gio Ponti and is the result of a ten-phase sophisticated process of craftsmanship. It isrecognisable by its bright and lively color on the white porcelain, embellished by the prestigious platinum thread, a distinctive signature of the Ginori 1735 manufacturer. The mise en place is completed with soup dishes, bread and dessert dishes, and tea and coffee sets. It is also available in black, scarlet red, and sapphire blue.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
