Ginori 1735 Catene Oval Platter, Smeraldo

The Ginori 1735 Catene Oval Platter, Smeraldo is a porcelain platter from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Oval porcelain platter with emerald green and platinum decoration. Catene collection by Gio Ponti.

The emerald green geometric pattern stands out against the delicate porcelain and lights up against the precious platinum threading, paying homage to the history and tradition of Ginori 1735. Available in different colors, it is designed in combination with other elements of the same line, for sophisticated tone-on-tone tables or as bold chromatic and geometric mixes in contrast with the items in the Labirinto collection. Catene is designed with the creative flair of Gio Ponti and is available in a complete tableware and tea and coffee set to accompany unforgettable moments of conviviality and unique mise en place.

Ginori 1735 Catene Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
