Ginori 1735 Catene Small Bowl, Ebano

The Ginori 1735 Catene Small Bowl, Ebano is a porcelain bowl from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Porcelain bowl with Ebano brown decoration and gold threading. Gio Ponti's Catene collection.

The brown Ebony decor accompanied by the iconic gold threading discreetly illuminates the entire mise en place, which is conveyed to the guests. This is the effect of the porcelain bowl from the Catene collection which, with its bold yet refined geometric pattern, symbolizes strength and continuity, capturing the attention of anyone who uses it. Match it with the other pieces in the collection, such as plates, cups and trays, to create a complete table, or play with color variants of the same decor: the Cachemire beige hue, warm and delicate, creates a harmonious contrast by adding a note of softness to the table. The elegance of the shape and the sophistication of the pattern make this design cup perfect for serving single-portion desserts at formal events. But its elegance is not limited to the table: placed on a shelf or on an entryway cabinet as a refined piece of decor, it will transform any corner into a space of refined and modern design. Perfect for both contemporary and classic settings, it is confirmed as an icon of Gio Ponti's creative vision, where modernity meets Ginori 1735 tradition.

Ginori 1735 Catene Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
