Ginori 1735 Catene Tea Cup, Scarlatto

The Ginori 1735 Catene Tea Cup, Scarlatto is a porcelain cup from the Ginori 1735 Catene collection, made in Italy.

Porcelain tea cup in red pattern and platinum threading. Catene Ginori 1735 collection.

The porcelain tea cup from the Catene collection embodies the understated refinement of Ginori 1735 's manufacturing tradition. The interwoven geometric pattern in scarlet that evokes a stylized chain is repeated harmoniously and symmetrically on all pieces in the collection, enhanced by the iconic platinum threading that lends a touch of royalty to the tea ceremony. A symbol of classic yet modern taste that blends seamlessly into any mise en place, whether it is a table with essential lines or a sumptuous allure. Match the Gio Ponti porcelain tea cup with the teapot and dessert plates from the same collection: serving cookies, cakes or pastries on matching plates further enriches the tea ritual. In addition, the use of small candles or candleholders designed by Ginori 1735 will help create a warm and intimate atmosphere, transforming a moment of relaxation into a romantic and evocative experience. Also discover the porcelain tableware sets designed by Gio Ponti: sophisticated and elegant in their essentiality, they are explosive and disruptive in the movement of their geometries, immediately capturing the attention of those who observe them.

Pair it with other Ginori 1735 Catene pieces for a coordinated Italian porcelain coffee and tea service.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
