Ginori 1735 Colonna Re-Edition Table Service for 6, Blue

The Ginori 1735 Colonna Re-Edition Table Service for 6, Blue is a porcelain table service from the Ginori 1735 Colonna Re-Edition collection.

Porcelain table service for six people. Colonna Re-Edition collection by Giovanni Gariboldi.

Fine porcelain is enhanced by the deep blue that distinguishes the original 1950s design. It consists of six flat, soup and dessert plates, two small lidded bowls and a pickle dish. The set is completed with a lidded tureen, an extraordinarily versatile piece that, when deconstructed, yields a great variety of uses as a salad or fruit bowl and a platter. Design and functionality entwine in the Colonna collection, created by the genius of Giovanni Gariboldi, an apprentice of Gio Ponti who became Creative Director of the Ginori 1735 Manifattura and who reimagined the art of porcelain in an eclectic and unmistakable collection. Awarded the Compasso d'Oro, the world's oldest and most prestigious award for design, it reinvents the craft of porcelain in a contemporary light. The perfect purchase or gift for Design lovers and collectors, who cannot miss the re – edition of this revolutionary icon.

Ginori 1735 Colonna Re-Edition Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
