Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Large Oval Platter, White

The Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Large Oval Platter, White is a porcelain platter from the Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection, made in Italy.

Chariot White large oval platter in porcelain with pure gold. Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection.

Black scrollwork evokes ocean waves as it frames the deity at the center of the design. An image of Neptune driving a chariot drawn by mythic horses tells of a journey into the depths. Pure gold threading, a hallmark of the Florentine Maison, illuminates and enhances the piece as a whole. Il Viaggio di Nettuno is a kaleidoscopic collection by designer Luke Edward Hall, a young artist who expresses his passion for Greco-Roman mythology through decorations that are vividly epic. They embody a fusion of craftsmanship, classical antiquity and contemporary design and are available in a complete range of tableware and original home décor accessories.

Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
