Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Mug, Sky Blue

The Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Mug, Sky Blue is a porcelain mug from the Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection, made in Italy.

Porcelain mug with Sky Blue decor and pure gold threading. Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection.

The marine world takes center stage in this porcelain mug with a delicate Sky Blue hue and yellow border, framed by the distinctive pure gold threading. A bold color scheme evoking the sunny landscapes of the Mediterranean, chosen by designer Luke Edward Hall to represent two divine figures: Neptune, god of the sea and water, and his bride Salacia. Their busts, depicted on both sides, evoke Greco-Roman mythology reinvented with a contemporary look: the result is a designer mug that combines tradition and modernity. Perfect for accommodating coffee, tea or refreshing beverages, this mug is ideal to accompany a good book during a tea break. With its innovative design and exclusive Ginori 1735 luxury box, it is also perfect as a meaningful gift to celebrate precious and lasting bonds. Explore the entire Il Viaggio di Nettuno tableware and giftware line: the English artist brings a modern twist to the classic lines of Ginori 1735 porcelain pieces, resulting in a collection that is romantic, charming and contemporary.

Pair it with other Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno pieces for a coordinated Italian porcelain coffee and tea service.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
