Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Mug, Terracotta
The Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno Mug, Terracotta is a porcelain mug from the Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection, made in Italy.
Porcelain mug with Terracotta decor and pure gold threading. Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection.
Two sea creatures, an octopus and a fish, emerge in all their symbolic force on either side of this mug. Companions of Neptune's legendary journey to the abyss, they stand out against the Terracotta colored background, embellished by threading in pure gold. An elegant contrast is created with the wavy Sky Blue pattern that runs along the edge of the mug, recalling the fluid movement of sea waves. This soft and refined color palette is inspired by the tones of Greek ceramics and Mediterranean summers, which, with the light and shadow of coastal landscapes, influences the creative vision of artist Luke Edward Hall. Ready to welcome tea, coffee or cold drinks, this porcelain mug immediately becomes part of a personal ritual: an invitation to take a break, to carve out a moment for oneself. Immerse yourself in the Il Viaggio di Nettuno porcelain tableware: this iconic collection by Ginori 1735 comes from the unmistakable style of English artist Luke Edward Hall, who draws on Greco-Roman mythology but reinterprets it with lightness and modernity.
Pair it with other Ginori 1735 Il Viaggio di Nettuno pieces for a coordinated Italian porcelain coffee and tea service.

About Ginori 1735
Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
