The Ginori 1735 Oriente Italiano Bowl, Malachite is a porcelain bowl from the Ginori 1735 Oriente Italiano collection, made in Italy.

Malachite bowl in porcelain. Oriente Italiano collection.

The fine porcelain is decorated in bold shades of malachite green and shows in contrasting blue the "carnation" floral motif that is distinctive to the entire collection. The delicate ornament runs along the classic lines of the Antico Doccia shape for a unique object in the unmistakable style of the Florentine Maison complements the tableware proposal of the same line, for bold mise en place characterized by unexpected color mix & match. Oriente Italiano, available in complete tableware, tea, coffee and home accessories assortments, evokes the atmosphere of an imaginary oriental garden with the skill and personality of Ginori 1735 craftsmanship.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
