Ginori 1735 Voliere Oval Platter, Merle Vert

The Ginori 1735 Voliere Oval Platter, Merle Vert is a porcelain platter from the Ginori 1735 Voliere collection, made in Italy.

Oval platter in porcelain with Merle Verte and pure gold decoration. Volière collection.

An iridescent blackbird, plumed in vibrant shades of green and purple, features at the center of the platter and is illuminated with exquisite threading in pure gold that traces the clean lines of the Impero shape. The Volière collection, available in complete tableware sets and fine home accessories, depicts different subjects in enamel that are inspired by the images in antique botanical publications. It is an expression of the savoir faire and craftsmanship of Ginori 1735, where, for over 280 years, porcelain has been handcrafted into authentic objects of beauty in an endless quest for artistic perfection.

About Ginori 1735

Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
