Ginori 1735 Voliere Round Platter, Coucou Didrie
The Ginori 1735 Voliere Round Platter, Coucou Didrie is a porcelain platter from the Ginori 1735 Voliere collection, made in Italy.
Round platter in porcelain with Coucou Didrie and pure gold decoration. Volière collection.
It spotlights the Coucou Didrie, a noble bird masterfully festooned in shades of green and subtly accented with a red fleck. The decoration and threading in pure gold, a signature of the Florentine Maison, enhance the design, rendering the tray an authentic objet d'art. Volière, available in complete table services and fine home decor accessories, depicts various floral and faunal subjects inspired by the illustrations in antique botanical publications. They are decorated in overglaze by way of a sophisticated firing process that protects the more than fifty hues and enhances the vibrance of the pigments.
Ginori 1735 Voliere Italian porcelain dinnerware is sold piece by piece, so a complete place setting can be built over time or added to a wedding registry.

About Ginori 1735
Ginori 1735 was founded in 1735 by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori in Doccia, near Florence, and is one of Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturers. Its pieces are still made and decorated at the Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy; the architect Gio Ponti was its artistic director from 1923 to 1933.
