The Moser Optic Tumbler 360 ml is a crystal tumbler from the Moser Optic collection, hand-blown from lead-free crystal at the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where Moser has made crystal since 1857.
Creates a network of lights and reflections
The refined design of this Old Fashioned glass for whisky or water from the Optic collection will entice you to play with the light reflections and color changes. Maybe they’ll be even more interesting than the drink itself! The varying thickness of the glass sides, which are thicker near the massive bottom and gradually grow thinner towards the edge, makes a great opportunity for that. A quality whisky or bourbon will really shine in the glass made of this clear Czech crystal, while the colored versions in shades of beryl, eldor, rosalin, alexandrite, aquamarine or topaz will tastefully set off clear water or lemonade. The designer: Lukáš Jabůrek
Lukáš Jabůrek, Glass artist, designer, glass cutter, and the art director of the Moser glassworks from 2013 – 2018. Graduate of the Glassmaking vocational college and the High school of Applied Arts in Nový Bor. Winner of the Public Award from Czech Grand Design in 2012, for the design of the Pear and Kolorit vases. His work is unique, with its characteristically unorthodox combination of colored glass and very specific cuts. His artwork for Moser is counted among the most sought-after of the past decade.
