The Moser Solaris Water Glass 385 ml is a crystal water glass from the Moser Solaris collection, hand-blown and hand-cut from lead-free crystal at the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, where Moser has made crystal since 1857.
A golden reflection of the sun’s rays
The cylindrical shape is complemented by the twelve precisely cut facets rising from the massive base, creating the unmistakably confident character of this glass. Its originality is emphasized by the reflection of the 24-carat gold covering the bottom of the glass.
Design and production: A modern take on traditional gold
The sunray-inspired Solaris drinkware collection is a brand new addition to the Moser portfolio. The twelve facets make the reflections of the 24-carat gold, which covers the base part of every item in this drinkware set, dance. The massive metallic base refracts the gold rays like an unusual mirror and fills the interior with the atmosphere of the evening sun. The collection includes an Old Fashioned whisky glass, a Highball long drink glass, a carafe and a shot glass for spirits.

About the Moser Solaris collection
Introducing the Solaris crystal collection, which will literally light up the interior and look elegant and confident under all circumstances. The bottle and the drinking set which comprise the collection are cut to 12 facets mirroring the 24-carat gold applied to their convex bottom. The robust bottom thus serves as both a lens and a mirror that reflects its surroundings.
The designer: Petr Larva
Glassmaker and designer Petr Larva acted as the Art Director of the Moser glassworks from 2018-2021. He graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where he attended the Glass Studio under Vladimír Kopecký and also received his doctorate in glassmaking. He holds many international awards. His creations can be found in many museums and private collections and you can even encounter them in presidential or royal offices in Europe, the USA, Arabian countries, and Japan. “I view glass as a medium, the bearer of meaning, feeling and emotion that creates the ambience of individuality and luxury.
