The Saint-Louis Tommy Champagne Flute is a crystal champagne flute by Cristallerie Saint-Louis, the French crystal manufacture founded in 1586 in Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche, in the Moselle region of France, where its crystal is still mouth-blown and hand-cut.
Clear crystal dinner service comprising American water glass n°1, water glass n°2, wine glass n°3, wine glass n°4, port glass n°5, liqueur glass n°6, table goblet, champagne flute and champagne glass. Representing the expertise of the Saint-Louis crystal glassworks, the glasses feature diamond, almond, filet, cord and pearl cuts on the parison, and a star-cut foot. Tommy set two Champagne flutes. After its brilliant showing at Versailles in 1938 at a legendary royal lunch,the Tommy service has captured the symbolic essence of Saint-Louis. From its star base to its diamond-cut, bevels, chains and beads cuts hurricanes, it showcases all the craftsmanship and dextrous brio of master glassworkers.
