Bernardaud White Dinnerware: Modern Patterns to Mix With Color

Why White Bernardaud Works Every Day

• Microwave safe. Bernardaud says all of its dinnerware patterns are microwave-safe except those decorated with precious metals – so the all-white patterns below can go straight into the microwave.
• Dishwasher safe. Bernardaud dinnerware is dishwasher-safe; Bernardaud recommends a low-temperature program and no more than the recommended amount of detergent.
• Easy to mix. White goes with every color, every season and every other pattern you own.
• Easy to add to. Pieces are sold individually, so you can start with a few plates and build over time.

Pieces with gold or platinum – such as Ecume Or, Ecume Platine or Twist Or & Platine – are the exception: keep those out of the microwave. Bernardaud pieces are made in Limoges, and pieces made to order take 3–4 weeks.

Caring for White Bernardaud

Bernardaud's own care advice: wash in the dishwasher on a low-temperature program, or by hand with the soft side of a sponge – never the abrasive side – and wipe dry with a soft cloth to keep the glaze bright. Porcelain can go in a conventional oven, but avoid sudden temperature changes, such as moving a dish straight from the refrigerator to a hot oven.
