Herend
Herend is hand-painted porcelain made in Herend, Hungary, where the manufactory has worked since 1826. Every piece is shaped, painted and gilded by hand, which is why Herend china is collected piece by piece and handed down.
The best-known Herend china patterns include Rothschild Bird, Queen Victoria (named for the queen, who ordered the service at the 1851 Great Exhibition in London), Chinese Bouquet, Princess Victoria, Fish Scale and Golden Edge. Browse Herend dinnerware by pattern, or shop by piece: all Herend plates, dinner plates, dessert plates, salad plates, service plates, teapots and teacups and saucers.
Popular Herend pages include Herend Golden Edge, Rothschild Garden and Blue Garland dinnerware, and animals such as Herend cat figurines, Herend ducks and Herend elephant figurines.
Herend is equally known for its animals: see all Herend figurines, from bunnies and birds to dogs, cats and elephants, most painted in the signature fishnet pattern.
